World Cancer Day: Closing the Care Gap

Saturday, 4 February, is World Cancer Day. This year, we draw attention to the power of working together to close the gap in cancer care.

At the European Lead Factory (ELF), we are proud to have built a community of committed partners working together to address the drug discovery needs for a wide variety of therapeutic areas. One of our key areas of focus is cancer research, with oncology programs making up almost 40% of our portfolio.

Thanks to the ELF partnership, two drug candidates for cancer treatment have been identified and have progressed to phase 1 clinical trial testing in humans, offering new hope for cancer patients.
